The Boys and Girls Clubs of Cleveland provide youth development for boys and girls, ages 6 - 18, at seven locations that feature 30-plus programs in character and leadership, development, education and career development, the arts, health and live skills, and fitness and recreation.

Sometime in December: Christmas Extravaganza - located @1035 Blythe Avenue (Blythe Unit Boys and Girls Club).
- The Boys and Girl's club, Lions Club and the Bedwell family partner together to throw a large Christmas party for the youth and families in the community. There were over 1300 people at last year's party. The party consisted of entertainment, games, prizes, food, presents for all youth, live music, character costumes, etc. Families eat while being entertained by playing stage games, receiving rafflled door prize drawings, and participating in large silly trivia games. Youth are called by age to meet with Santa at the North Pole!
One Saturday in December - CATCH the Spirit community Christmas celebration - located at 385 3rd street S.W. (Tucker Unit Boy's and Girl's Club)
- The Boys and Girl's club, Catch Ministries, Mt. Olive First Baptist, Clingan Ridge and Westwood all come together each year to host a "Cruise" like experience for the community families. Family portraits are taken of guests so they can receive a free family Christmas portrait. Guests then experience a theatrical musical production in the performing arts room. Than they enter into a restaurant atmosphere with candle lights, table clothes. full coffee bar, dessert carts and full wait staff. The experience is much like that of Carnival Cruise Lines. The food is amazing! Smoked ham and Turkey plates brought directly to your seats to avoid the Buffet style dining style that they mostly experience. A Maitre' D then communicates with the group about the holiday season as well as giving out door prizes. At one time during their lunch the D.J. will play songs for them to have a chance to dance along with the wait staff. Guest's pick up their free family portrait, free dry goods and blankets and the youth will all receive a gift as they are leaving the party.
