The Community Development Block Grant program is a federally funded grant program through the Department of Housing and Urban Development that provides funding for services that primarily benefit low and moderate income target areas of the City of Cleveland. After community input and staff evaluations, projects are selected on a yearly basis. Examples of projects funded by the CDBG program include sidewalks, recreation improvements, down payment assistance.
